EN200 Collaborative Project: Research Annotation

Each student will be contributing one additional annotation based on the background research you choose, as a group, to do. This annotation should be between two and three paragraphs in length, and it should be well-organized and clearly written, as all your work for this class is! Be sure to document your sources in the bibliography page and practice complete and accurate in-text citation--you may find it especially helpful to hyperlink your in-text citations to the bibliography page as you go.

This background research annotation should ultimately give readers a useful context for more fully understanding the poem we're explicating. While you may use anything in your Abrams text for this backround research annotation, you must also use at least one book, book chapter, or scholarly essay you've found. This annotation will be linked from some part of Sexton's poem, so consider what text you'll use as your link!
